Using antibiotics when preparing competent cells

Hallo!  When preparing competent E.coli from
strains that have resistance to some antibiotic
(such as Xl1-blue) using Inoue's method, would it
influence the competency of the cells if the
antibiotic is included in the SOB medium in which
the cells are grown to mid-log phase?
