GEL SCANNING/QUANTITATION

HELP
We have a PDI Corp Gel Scanner, for 2D-gel
scanning/documentation/quantification. Unfortunately, PDI
was bought by BioRad and they will not provide support for
this machine or the software package, unless we pay $20K for
totally new set up. We cannot log into our machine without a
 new password, and the old one has been lost.
Can anyone either
1) provide us with a password that might work
2) Make suggestions on other gel scanning software that we
might install.
3) Any other suggestions?
