hi netters!
we have isolated a gene and cloned in E.coli.
gene product is with us. but the natural system
from which the gene is isolated does not produce the product 
even to a detectable level. i want to isolate rna and do trancriptional
studies as to why it is not been expressed.
can any one help me as to how to proceed further.
pls suggest  me   references if any.
