A (probably naive) question:
I'd like to overexpress a 525AA protein in primary cell culture of neurons.
I am not a molecular biologist (and I intend to stay that way if poss.) but
have heard that nowadays you can have a vector (like herpes simplex) custom
made by a biotech firm and then use it to infect the cells and make them
overexpress whatever you want.
What's the procedure and where can I find a firm that will do that?
Any info (if possible by e-mail) is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jan
