possiblities for cell lysis include:
non-ionic detergents like thesit @1%
lysozyme @ 0.1 -1 mg/mL
multiple cycles of freeze thaw in dry ice/EtOH or liquid nitrogen
try following one of these with multiple passes through a narrow bore
syringe.
