Grinding Samples

I am looking for an instrument or a reference to builing an aparatus to
grind plant tissue in mutiple individual 15ml or 50ml tubes containing glass
or metal beads.  I have heard rumors of adapting a paint-shaker to do the
job.  We currently use Sawzall instument to grind tissue in 96 well blocks,
but need a way to grind multiple sample (30-50) simultaneously in larger
tubes.  Any help would be appreciated.
