CLontech Suppression Subtractive Hybridization

Hi,

Has anyone tried the Clontech SSH kit (PCR Select)? i have and found that I 
am only getting about 39 clones from the secondary PCR product after 
purifying it through the Beohringer High PUre PCR kit. Any clues? Thanks. 
Without purification I get more than a 1000 clones.
