Sigma also sells a precursor  - G3P diethylacetal (G5376),  from which you 
can make a solution of G3P relatively easily - it's also cheaper and keeps 
for longer in the freezer.

If you require it for a GAPDH assay, don't forget you can also assay this 
enzyme backwards using 3PG as substrate with PGK as auxilliary enzyme and 
follow NADH going the other way.  I have protocols for both the forward and 
backward assays if you need them.
