pI of lysozyme, measured not calculated

Hi everybody,

I was looking for the isoelectric point of hen egg lysozyme
and found in books rather differing experimental values (10 and 11), which
are higher than calculated (9.32 for swissprot:LYC_CHICK).
I am aware that values that high are not so easy to determine.

But maybe somebody from this community knows more about it ?

Also a www-site with experimental pI and absorbance values of such model
proteins would be good to know ?

Thanks

Emile
