help: long pcr problem (urgent)

Hi John.

I know that I've been asking the same kind of questions some time ago. I got
away from that project for some time. Since then I've been able to do Long
PCR (around 16kb) on some fish species, so the bad seed thing doesn't seems
to be an issue. The problem seems to come from the crustacean rather than
the reagents. The first time I was getting alot of smeering. I got some
realy specific primers and now, it seems like the DNA can get into the
gel...

any idea
