for good but expensive... Trizole (1 dollar per ml) for total rna isolation and Quiagen Oligotex kit or just trizole plus standard oligo dt.... for cheaper.....Perhaps you can make the "trizole" yourself since it is based on a standard published protocol. hope these hints help.
