blue/white selection problem

Depends on your vector system..... TA cloning kits go bad or the ends
get chewed and you recover blunt end ligations.   Selection in non
phosphatase treated vectors can lead to alot of white colonies.... you
might be chewing the ends....also you might have carryover from vector /
insert production......you need to specify what your doing for
commenters to be more helpful.
