DNA precipitation by n-propanol

Dear all,
There are two types of propanol: 1-propanol (n-propanol) and 2-propanol
(isopropanol).
I have found that almost all of the protocol for using isopropanol rather
than n-propanol to precipitate DNA. Is there any reason for that?
