Ghost bands on plasmid preps

No, I used an SDS/NaOH lysis solution, which may well have been the cause of
the problem. If it's not too much trouble, could you give me a little more
detail on the composition of the phenol-chloroform solution? I'd be quite
keen to try it out and see what happens.
