Hi,
it's a bit the other way around. The jacknife parameter comes with a mean ,
standard error and confidence limits. If the confidence limits are to wide for
you then you need more data. See Randomization,bootstrap and montecarlo methods
in biology , B.F.J. Manly Chapman & Hall 1998 (and others)
