Q: Protein Staining. How to make SimplyBlue?

I'm interested in staining SDS-PAGE gel with
non-toxic reagents. I think SimplyBlue from
Invitrogen is somewhat expensive just to
purchase. Anyone know how to prepare 'custom'
SimplyBlue?
