Assuming you are using Windows.

Are you sure it is a bug in Eudora rather than when Eudora was installed
it set itself up as the default mailer/news sender for your computer? I
use IE5 and haven't used Netscape for some while.  Try looking under
File Types (from any windows folder) for URL:NNTP or URL:News etc. My
guess is that the File Type is pointing to Eudora so whenever you invoke
reply in Netscape, Eudora is launched. If you change it back to Netscape
Messenger you should fix it.
