If yor reader has a serial (RS232) interface, you might consider to
connect it via a nullmodem cable (cheap, but also easy to solder by
yorself if you should need a long wire) to your PC and import the
data using any terminal program software (there should be some
standard software coming with windows, mac and unix system).
For the further processing, any spreadsheet like should work.
Shouldn't be a big effort to set up a complete data evaluation this
way in a few hours.
There are many web resources for null modem cables or simply ask
someone familiar with computer hardware.
