protein reduction

Does anybody know what concentration of reducing agent (DTT or
mercaptoethanol) would be required in order to completely reduce a
protein containing 8 sulfhydryl groups? So far I've tried lysis buffer
containing 10mM DTT combined with 50mM mercaptoethanol but the protein
still doesn't reduce completely.
