Fw: silver stain

I know that we have de-stained a silver stained acrylamide gel with 1%
hydrogen peroxide.  This works only after putting the silver stain through
a stop solution of 5% acetic acid for around 15min.  

Susanne R's reply reminds me of a product called Sypro-ruby (by Molecular
Probes Inc., no affiliation)  which we switched to using for our 2-D gels. 
It was fast and easy and very sensitive.
