plasmid kits opinions

I like the qiagen kits. The Promega Wizard kits leave your DNA so salty (or
EtOH contamination) that dialysis is required before cutting or even loading
onto a gel. I haven't tried the Biorad kits but heard from others that they
are not that great. Try asking for samples but I find that a lot of
companies are no longer offering the freebies. Anyone else getting that
impression?
