1 bp is approximately 650 daltons.
It follows that one mole of a 1000 bp fragment is 650000 grams.
One mole has about 6.02*10e23 molecules (Avogardo's number)
Therefore one molecule of a 1000 bp piece of DNA weighs:
(6.5*10e5 / 6.02*10e23) = 1.08*10e-18 grams = 1.08 attograms
