dot blot vs. slot blot

Maybe my ideas of dot blots and slot blots are different from other
folks':
Dot blots let you look at lots of different samples or concentrations of
samples (antigen). I usually think of them as an ELISA on paper.
Slot blots let you look at lots of different antibodies or concentrations
of antibodies. I usually think of using them to determine what
concentration of antibody to use for westerns.
