Hi netters, I have problems in cleaving my vector with ClaI, I assume it is due to methylation of the restriction site. Therefore I want to transform the DNA from coli TOPO cells into a dam- strain, but I have only a hsdRMS- genotype. Does this mean that the strain is also dam-? Thanks, Julia Molitor ---
