dansyl chloride and proteins

Hi all,

when adding dansyl chloride to a protein solution at room temperature,
which amino acid residues are likely to react? I assume free N termini, K
and maybe R, but what about Y, S, T, C ?

There is some bicarbonate and acetate present, so pH is slightly alkaline

Any ideas?

Wolfgang
