strange precipitate on western blot

Hello Rick,

How reactive was the polyclonal antiserum you raised against your protein
in an ELISA format? Your posting made it sound like you jumped straight to
a western blot.

Was the protein injected into the rabbit in a denatured state or native?

If you use pre-immune serum from the rabbit in your western does it produce
the same phenomenon?

The point of the above questions are to both address the spotting problem
as well as the non-reactivity of the antiserum.
