Hi Peter

Without knowing more about what you are doing, I would say it is either due 
to poor primer annealing or [Mg] is out of whack.  I would try increasing 
the annealing temperature of your PCR by increments of 2 - 3 degrees.  If 
that didn't work, try doing a [Mg] gradient.
