CO(2) incubators with copper surface

Dear Jonny, 
In my former lab, we deidn't clean our copper lined Heraeus incubators for 
more than one year (probably much longer) and I can't remember any 
mushrooms growing there. To my knowledge, copper (as sulfate) is used as 
antifungal agent in some agriculture branches.
