Clontech have just launched the plastic microarray featuring 8,300 + genes
per array. They claim that these represent all currently characterised human
genes.

Clontech tech support are very good and may be able to answer some of your
other questions. Try e-mailing tech at clontech.com. It won't hurt to ask!

By the way I do not work for Clontech, but know they are very helpful from
my own experiences with them.
