substitution of oil overlay

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a thermal cycler which doesn' t have a heated lid,
I remember vaguely, that instead of using an oil overlay to prevent
evaporation, there is some red liquid which becomes a solid seal o top
of your probe, once you add it to your PCR-reaction. Does anyone know
what it is and where I can get it from?
