Dear Marcelo,
            I used the one in the Qiagen Ni-NTA protein purification
booklet (on their web site), for E. coli, but I used it for Pseudomonas
aeruginosa.  My preparation was very messy (with lysed cells)  - however I
am not really sure how good periplasmic preps are supposed to be!
