Plasmid storage software

In the last lab I worked in, we used File Maker Pro (I'm sure there 
are both Mac and PC versions of this) to catalog plasmids, strains, 
etc.  One person set up the database (which may have been a bit of 
work), but after that, it was quite easy for the whole lab to use for 
entering and accessing information.
