Low cost PCR

The brainstorming goes on: So why not use a hairdryer or "heat gun" blowing
into a chamber for the generation of a defined air tepereature and
subsequently blowing that air around thin walled PCR tubes?
For the cooling air, one could use a blower that goes through an ice box or a
refrigerator.

Think of the principal design of Roche's Light Cycler.
(They, however had to do big effort to optimize equal heating/cooling their
capillaries)

Wo
