You may want to try concentration with a spin concentrator (eg Amicon's
centricon). Precipitation techniques reduce the solubility of the protein.
The recovery is nover 100% and will vary with each protein and with the
technique you employ. However, there will likely be some loss in the
centricon due to proein binding to the surfaces of the chamber and the
filtration membrane.
