Hi all ! We had an diskussion about the different protocols for western bloting in our lab. I found protocols for tank blotting buffer with and without methanol. Does anybody know the funktion of the methanol in this buffer ? Depends it on the membrane used (Nitrocellulose vs. PVDF) ? Thanks in advance Carmen
