RNA and OD260nm

Hmmm ... 

 If the absorbance reading of the sample at 260nm is "r", then you have 40r 
microgram of RNA per milliliter in the sample you are reading off. However, the 
accuracy of this simple relation is contingent upon the purity of the sample 
(A260:A280 = 2.0, ideally). 

Nothing surprises me aymore!
