Just search for protocols on cells and tissue fixation. Ethanol,
paraformaldehyde, formaldehyde, glutaraldehyde, detergents (Triton X-100,
CTAB, ...), organic solvents (toluene, chlorophorm, ...). Specific procedure
would depend what exactly you are studying. If you are doing e.g.
microscopy, that would be either ethanol fixation, or (one of the methods)
2-4% paraformaldehyde followed by brief permeabilization by Triton X-100 in
