Testing a Photobiotin labelled DNA probe. Method needed???

Did you apply some kind of cooling to the solution while you had the lamp 
on?
It might be something as simple as the solution getting too warm.
I worked, on other experiments, with 500W halogen lamps and cooling was 
necessary most of the time.

I'd second the previous post about trying to apply a UV Filter also.
