restriction digst not working

I am digesting the plasmid DNA which has got subclobned DNA,but when 
iamdigesting with the same enzymes used for subcloning,not atatll 
digesting,and it is not having reverse clonable probabilities.And two month 
old plamid getting digestion,but trhe same is not dgesting now,is that probl 
of  any components,becos recently we changed Phenol,and water,the waster 
from MQ which shown" change catridge">is that problem of water ,please any 
one suggest  to rectify.
