Lyophilizing sterile samples in a Speed-Vac

You could try this workaround:

deprive some eppi lids from their tubes and cut out circular holes.
Then use them to clamp a piece of suitable membrane on the vial where
your solution is in. That's it. I used this setup some time ago to
convert eppis into dialysis tubes.
