carrageenan edema

  dear sir,
 im a biology student and im doing my research on
antiinflammation. 
  in acute inflamatory model using carrageenan most
studies prefer to give treatmemt 1 hour before
carrageenan administration, am asking if it is
recommended to do this or can i give them the
treatment after carrageenan administration, waiting
your suggestions,
