Dear All, is there a size limit for soluble expression of proteins in E. coli? Have codon optimized artificial genes pushed the limits? Is it reasonable to assume that it is difficult above 50 kDa and impossible above 100 kDa to get soluble expression in E. coli? Thanks for your kind help! Soenke
