need ~100 bp fragments from Saliva DNA

Hello,
I need to cleave DNA purified from saliva to about 100
bp fragments.  I have tried sonication, but it gives
broad results from ~200-600 bp.  I do not know the
sequence, although the dna is around 12-14kb.  What
would the most efficient way to do this be?  Perhaps a
combination of sonication with some sort of enzymatic
digestion?
