Dear Yoginee,
possibly there is something precipitating on your column (or eluting
VERY SLOWLY). Reverse the column and flush it with something like
Methanol to get the stuff out.
To extend the life of your column, consider a short "pre-column" (same
material, just shorter, a few cm are sufficient) as disposable
scavenger for this kind of dirt.
