Hi! A question for open discussion: where are the ruminal bacteria coming from?. In other words: how do ruminal bacteria invade a cow just born?. Remember that most of them are strict anaerobes and a pathway similar to the one followed by other facultative anaerobic bacteria can be too hard for them. Antonio G Pisabarro
