Yeast contamination

To whom this may concern

We are currently growing Bovine testis (primary cultures) in tissue culture. 
For some time now we have been having problems with yeast contamination. Are 
there any agents which may be used in primary tissue cultures which may be 
added to the medium in order to eliminate this problem ?

We have been told that merely washing the cell layer with PBS would be 
adequate ?????

Any advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
