I am seeing great variability in parallel identical E.coli cultures which have full length lacZ fusions to a strong promoter (ParaBAD). Anyone who has struggled with this please send me a note. (eg. how many Miller units is "too many", preferred media, induction time, ect.) Thanks, Jim J. E. Graham
