If I remember this RFD generated very little interest, which
makes a vote somewhat puzzling. Seperating the discussion occuring 
now in this group into "experts" and "novices" would seem detrimental 
to both groups, especially the latter.

I guess the readers of bionet.microbiology need to respond to this
"idea" yet again, this time with a vote.
