Hello. My name is Lori Oliwenstein. I'm a freelance writer currently working
on a piece for Discover magazine focusing on programmed cell death in 
bacteria. I've been talking to a lot of people who study pattern 
development and communication within bacterial colonies, but I haven't 
been able to find many scientists who really focus on programmed death 
itself. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd be very
