help with DNA extraction

Hello,
I need hepl with DNA extraction!!! I can't isolate genomic DNA from small
tissues samples collected in the field and stored in 95% ethanol. I use
the standard protocol with proteinase K digestion and ethanol
precipitation, but the results are very bad. Do somebody knows this
problem?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
